"Who is it? Why is it so noisy...? Can't a person get any sleep?" Xiong Xi was awakened by a commotion. He opened his eyes groggily and saw Huan Rugo holding Xiao Yuanran's hand, crying with tears streaming down her face.

He was startled and quickly sat up, rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. Only then did he understand what was happening. He comforted Huanruge, "Sister, don't cry. Ran's mother is gone...! If you keep crying, she won't come back. Instead, she'll worry about you."

Upon hearing Xiong Xi's words, Huan Rugo looked up at him with teary eyes and choked out, "No, Xiong Xi, my mother isn't dead. Look, her hands are still warm." She immediately took Xiao Yuanran's cold hands and rubbed and kneaded them.

"Alright, she's already dead, don't you understand?" Lin Yin couldn't stand it anymore and shouted at Huan Rugo.

These words directly provoked Huan Rugo. Huan Rugo's heart trembled, she stopped what she was doing, and was unable to recover for a long time. She did not respond to Lin Yin's words.

"What are you doing...? You scared your sister." Xiong Xi stepped forward to defend her: "The matter of Fangcao Village seems to have nothing to do with you. Please leave."

Lin Yin was startled by Huan Rugo's actions. He hadn't intended to hurt or embarrass her; it was only because Xiong Xi had provoked him that he lost his temper and attacked. He immediately released Xiong Xi: "Get up...! I've already let him go." Lin Yin turned away, pretending to be indifferent. Huan Rugo remained kneeling humbly, afraid to get up, lest she anger Lin Yin again.

Xiong Xi, panting heavily, walked over and helped Huan Rugo up, feeling extremely resentful: "Sister, get up...! We don't need to beg her. Come back to the Bear Clan with me, and I will protect you."
