Chapter 1030 Black Dog!-1

The black dog which was kept in the farthest corner of the store was known for it's unprecedented ferocity.

It was a husky, a pure breed one with jet black hair with some whites around the bridge of it's nose and neck.

Black huskies were rare in this world specially pure breed ones. This breed of dog was known for it's curious nature but at the same time, it would protect what it deemed to be it's pack animals.

Mostly known for their uncanny resemblance to the wolves, most husky were perceptive and dangerous especially this one. It's piercing blue eyes seem to reflect a level of intelligence far beyond normal animals which was why it hated humans the most as it understood them better!

Raised in captivity, it was made to fight other dogs. Usually, either Rottweiler or Pitbull would be the ideal contender for such a job but this one had shown too much exception abilities for its former owner to ignore. The ex-owner had a huge dog shelter, using it as a cover to operate illegal fights.

It was perfect front for the job, people who didn't want specific pet or someone donating the new born baby would become an perfect candidate for the show. Most of the time, he didn't even need to buy these animals. The only cost would be in raising so many dogs. Still with hiw lucrative the dog fighting market was in underworld, he made huge fight hosting sich events!

The husky grown in captivity for about one and half year, it's been fighting for few months but even that took a huge toll on its psyche.

Humans have many contradicting beliefs, some treat their pet as their own even going as far as to showering them with love like they were their own children while on the other extreme, few only consider them as goods that they could get benefit out of. It wasn't just restricted to animals but even other human beings!

The black husky that had gone through such cruel fate would obviously blame other humans. This was the reason why it was locked inside the furthest corner of the store. Store veterinarians didn't what to do with it.

They have already treated it's wound by sedating it but now no ine was able to even come close to touching it. As soon as someone tried to make a move, the husky would howl and bark incisively warning them not to get close!

It was extremely fierce which soon became a headache of the staff members, they couldn't even bath it properly!

Now that such a beast had targeted Elise, pouncing on her as soon as she came in it's range anyone would be able to tell ehat would her fate look like.

Samuel released his restrains directly suppressing the black husky. It was a but hard for him because Elise was in it's way and he was using full force not caring about life or death of perpetrator that dared to make a move on the little girl.

At the same time, he closed the distance in a fraction of a second shielding Elise while keeping his focus on the black dog.p

The dog's blue eyes widen in disbelief, the strong suppression was enough to confuse and frightened it. It had faced many animals before, knowing that each match was a life or death battle.

The beast that no one dared to get close to was hust half a feet away from Samuel and Elise, from their perspective from the back they thought both people were cowering in fear with young man protecting the little girl with his body!

" It's here! What should we do? If we made any loud noise, it would surely attack."

" Wait...there is something wrong. Have you ever seen such a expression on it's face? Why do I feel like it's scared of something?"

" Impossible! No one can scare him! That dog is a beast, it nearly bit my leg few days ago!"

Two staff members didn't know whether to laugh or cry. This job was much above their pay grade, they might be working in the clinic but it was obvious they were low level employee manning the store during recess!

" You two! If you can't do it, let me handle it. I am a pretty good shot." The middle aged man who followed them quietly put down the small dog, although he was a retired firefighter the decade of experience of serving the people in need wasn't lost. Beside, he knew how to handle firearms.

It would be bad if he accidentally hit the back of the young man since the dog's body was partially obscured by them. He knew he needed to change position to have a favourable angle.

Everyone held their breath, waiting for him to take action. It was a miracle that thr dog hadn't made his move but they felt like the situation wouldn't last for long. They needed to act fast!

Right then, Eleanor who had been left behind by the 'young' folks came into the picture. She only took a glance at the situation and knew everything was under control. When she heard snippets of conversation from other about her grandson being 'scared' and not 'daring to move',she snorted.

My grandson scared? It's just a cute dog, what could it do to my grandson? She almost laughed out loud before walking nonchalantly toward Samuel and Elise.

The retired firefighter almost had a good shot when his vision was obscure by something. He lowered the tranquilizer gun to see the old lady walking forward carelessly.

" Old lady! Stop!"

" Grab her! We can't let her disrupt the plan!" The two staff wanted to interject but she was already far ahead. They were scared shitless seeing the prominent red line on the ground.

This was drawn so that every employee could see how far the black behemoth can reach to bite people! Since Eleanor was already passed the line they hesitated.

" You little menace! Do you know how worried we were? There will be no snack for you for a week!" Eleanor patted Elise's hair delivering the punishment. Elise was already on the verge of crying, she didn't know her 'day' would turn out like this. Why was everyone bullying her today?!
